Tricks to Applying Lipstick

Applying lipstick may seem like an easy task, but the things the objects onto which lipstick itself can be transferred complicate the issue. Applying it from the tube seems like the easiest method, but is in fact the worst possible way to apply lipstick to the face. Instead it is best to apply it from the tube and then use a lip liner or your finger tips to even the application on your face. It should not outline the lips, but the color instead should be applied evenly for a more natural look.

Applying make up to dry or cracked lips can be a little tricky. The lipstick will not look right and is difficult to apply over these services. Fortunately applying a lip balm like Chapstick or Blistex will ease the problem and allow the lipstick to go over the mouth. Once the lipstick has been placed on the lips, apply it using smooth feathered strokes to achieve an even look.
